Seminole Tribe-sponsored Corey Deuel, along with Steve Moore, Ronnie Wiseman, Kim Davenport, and Mike Davis, are among the field of 43 entrants on the Seminole Pro Tour stop held this weekend at Hammerheads in Holiday, FL. The tour opened its season on the road earlier this month in Georgia, where Gabe Owen, not playing this weekend, took top honors. Also joining the list for the $6,500-added event this weekend are Tony Crosby, Donnie Mills, and young Korean Yu Ram Cha, fresh off her fifth-place finish in the WPBA San Diego Classic earlier this month.

Opening rounds, which featured 21 byes, began on Friday night at 7 p.m., when 11 of the first 16 matches were completed. Four of those opening matches were hill-hill affairs, including Louis Altes’ defeat of Corey Deuel. Also battling to a final deciding game and winning were Raymond Lenares over Bob McCulley, Javier Chirino over Michel Monk, and Richie Richeson over Dave Ross.
