J. Pechauer NorthEast Women’s Tour / South Amboy, NJ
Fresh from the Philippines, Iris Ranola faced off against My-Hanh Lac twice in a row in the finals of the J. Pechauer Northeast Women’s Tour stop the weekend of April 19-20, defeating her both times. A total of 28 women billiard players were on hand for the $1,000-added event at Prime Time Sports Bar and Café in South Amboy, NJ.
Ranola and Lac met for the first time in the hot seat match Sunday, in which Ranola bested her 7-4. On the one-loss side, Morgan Steinman and Supadra Boonpasook squared off in the event’s quarterfinal match, with Steinman winning 7-5. Steinman then faced Lac in the semifinals but was ousted 7-3, setting up the rematch between Lac and Ranola.
