IPT Commentary Voting
The International Pool Tour has opened voting to see who will
replace Mike Sigel in the booth as commentator for the June 24th live Ultimate
Series webcast. Mike Sigel, ten-time World Champion and Hall of Fame
member is the resident commentator for live IPT match play. However, for the
first time in many years he will be competing at 14.1 Straight Pool in the IPT
Ultimate 14.1 Straight Pool under-card match against John Schmidt. Fans can
vote through Sunday night (midnight) for who they would like to take Sigel’s
place in the booth as a commentator for the match. Fans can vote once per
day on the front page of www.internationalpooltour.com.
The live webcast will take place Tuesday, June 24th, at 8pm (eastern). The
under-card match is a race to 125 at 14.1 Straight Pool between Mike Sigel
and John Schmidt. The main event of the evening is an IPT Ultimate 8-Ball
match between Karl Boyes from the U.K. and Alex Pagulayan of the Philippines.
Both matches are free and can be seen at www.internationalpooltour.com. The
IPT suggests that you register (for free) early so that you don’t miss the
beginning of the webcast.
