Abraham Takes Second Blaze Tour

Billiards News – The Blaze 9-Ball Tour held its June 16-17 stop at Empire Billiards in Mount Holly, NJ, where Eddie Abraham bested the 32-player field to take his second win of the season.
Fighting through the winners’ side, Abraham met Al Lapena in the hot seat match and dispensed with him quickly after a 7-2 thrashing. On the one-loss side, Shin Park, who had taken his earlier loss from Lapena, got another crack at him, though Lapena appeared to have his number and ousted him 6-3 to earn his own rematch in the finals.
The finals got off like a bullet with Lapena taking the opening set 7-4, forcing a second set thanks to the true double-elimination format. With the final set of the event ready Abraham saw his only chance and pushed towards it, defeating Lapena 6-3 and claiming the tour stop.
