3-Cushion USBA National Qualifier to be Held Three Days
Taylor Road Productions, promoters of the Galveston World Classic, have announced that they will host a qualifier for the United States Billiards Association (USBA) National Championship. The Galveston World Classic is a heavily anticipated pool tournament that features over $1,000,000 in prizes and will be held at Moody Gardens in Galveston, TX September 11-20, 2009.
The USBA qualifier will take three days and will be held in conjunction with Professor Q-Ball Promotions. The qualifier will be a three day event with a round robin format race to 25 points. There will be two flights of 6. Three from each flight advances to the 6 person finals. The top two winners of the finals each receive free entry into 2009 USBA National Championship.
Each player that enters the USBA National Qualifiers will receive a complimentary pass to view the Galveston World Classic throughout the entire 9-day event.

As an added attraction on September 11th the 2006 USBA Champion, Mazin Shooni, will be on hand to offer 3-cushion clinics and lessons. This will be a chance for spectators and players to learn and bring up the level of their play. Each participant will receive an instructional packet with color diagrams of shots.
