Putnam Takes DMIRO Billiard Stop

The Team DMIRO 10-Ball Tour headed to Ultimate Billiards in Fort Pierce, FL, November 22. This $1,000-added event hosted a 10-player field including Shawn Putnam, Charlie Bryant, and Robb Saez.
This event was unlike other DMIRO events—it was a single, randomly drawn bracket. In the first round Saez drew Bryant and sent “Hillbilly” to the one-loss side after a hill-hill match. Also in the first round Berber sent Putnam west after yet another hill-hill bout.
Making a comeback, Putnam eliminated Jason Sheerman 7-6, Doug Young 7-1, and Bryant 7-5 to earn a rematch with Berber, who was defeated by Saez for the hot seat. Putnam ousted Berber 7-3, and Putnam and Saez played a single race to 13 to determine the winner.
Putnam take down a small but powerful field at the Team DMIRO event at Ultimate Billiards in Fort Pierce, FL this weekend.
Off the bat Putnam was down three racks and took one to make it 3-1. After the players exchanged a few racks, the score was 7-5 Saez. At that point Putnam took control and won the next five racks in a row, making it 10-7 in his favor. Saez was simply not able to hold Putnam off, and Putnam won the event 13-8.
